The Sean McPherson novels are perfect for book-to-screen adaptation. Readers have asked, “Who would cast as Sean and Emma in a movie?”
The first people who come to mind are Henry Cavill and Amy Adams. Some readers have suggested Barry Sloane and Cassidy Freeman.

Who would YOU cast as Sean and Emma?
I’m so out of it I don’t know either of these male actors. I could see Cassidy being a perfect Emma. Obviously, I’m not a big TV/movie watcher, so can’t think of a name for a male actor. Have you ever watched the PBS show Poldark? The main male character would be great. 🙂
Pam — I just looked up the PBS show Poldark. You just might be on to something!
Has Hollywood come knocking? I wouldn’t be surprised, Laurie.
Like Pam, I’m clueless though I think Amy Adams has the softness with the grit that Emma would require.
Marian — No, I haven’t been approached for book-to-screen. Yet! Wouldn’t that be fun?
I am, however, going to be featured in Art Chowder magazine (Art Chowder is a nationally distributed arts and culture magazine featuring authors, artists, performers, and chefs living in, working from, and influencing the culture of life in the Northwest). When the editor contacted me she said that the feature could possibly include a segment on PBS.
Rose Leslie as Emma! ❤️
Teddie — Oh, man. That’s spot-on!
Right?! I watched The Good Fight and immediately thought she’s Emma!

A Well-placed s and shared book to film exposure! I am not familiar with the storyline but it may be worth it to check out both presentations.☕️👍👍
