Ruby reflects their vibrant personalities, but needs to be handled with care because it can bring anger to the surface. Garnet can help spontaneous Aries to be more planful and focused, while Red Jasper helps to sooth and calm the oftentimes impatient Arien nature.

The Moon of Awakening (Mar 21 – Apr 19)
This period is one of energy and excitement. This energy is potential energy that must be nurtured in order for it to grow. The influence is one of transition from the world within to the outside world. The influence is one of awakening.

Fire signs are passionate, loving, confident, and innovative. Fire shapes inspiration. This is the impetuous element of spirit and creative life. The spontaneous fire element is active and outgoing. It’s innovative and initiatory. Fire signs get things moving. They act immediately with verve and confidence. A passionate element, this is the world of inspiration and creativity.

  1. Yes! My girlfriend, Bertha, is an Aries. This describes her! i am so pleasantly delighted by these depictions. (I am a Cancer and have never felt comfortable with this sign…although certain aspects do resonate.)

    • Kathy – I’m so glad you’re enjoying the descriptions. I adore Cancerians! I’ll betcha a dollar to a donut that you’ll resonate in a positive way when I post Cancer’s Zodiac description 🙂

    • Leanne – If you run an Arian campaign over on “The Sweater Curse,” you’ll probably have more takers than you can shake a stick at 🙂 I’m glad for your visit today, thank you.

  2. This sign seems to correspond with the “Orange Brain” individuals. It looks like you have featured tiger lily in the post. The Orange Tiger Lily Village is one of the villages of the Kingdom of Kindness in my family fairy tale, “Princess Shayna’s Invisible Visible Gift”. Thanks for the information, I’m really enjoying this “Green Education”!

  3. Well, Laurie, can it be a conundrum that my daughter, Faith, sounds like an Aries as well? First a Pisces and now an Aries, maybe that’s what the Cusp people are, a blend of each able to lean toward one trait or another as needs be. At any rate, she is a truly wonderful person and I’m delighted with her. This is being an interesting source of information, I am now scanning all my relatives and friends for recognizable traits!

  4. Just about every kid in my kid’s preschools was born in this zone through the 1st of May….We seemed to have 2 -3 birthday parties every weekend. My children often did not want to go, because they were such high energy events and 2 in one day was just too much….( well that and my kids gave very thoughtful gifts – like homemade cookies, or trail mix – and one was always knitting mittens) and this group also is not very fond of the simple pleasures of life or the homemade….they want more piazza.

One successful gift we hit upon for the boys was their own professional metal carpenter’s measuring tape – which was retractable…

I think I will carry these experiences with this group of folks with me forever….such a moving force of energy. Now I can not think of any one in this arena who is not a senior citizen – and they are more my speed!!

    • Patricia – How clever of you to find a gift that was a smashing success for little boys — a professional metal carpenter’s measuring tape. I can well imagine they were over the moon when they received such a cool gift!

  5. Hi, Laurie — this is teaching me that I need to pay more attention to when my friends’ birthdays are. I know I must know an Aries somewhere! If I don’t, I would like to.

I can hardly wait until you write about Taurus — that’s me!

    • Barbara – It’s fun to people-watch folks through the lens of their Zodiac sign and their Life Path number. It’s pretty fun/crazy how close most folks match up! Taurus is coming down the pike. I will post it this Tuesday, December 6th so be on the lookout 🙂

  6. I have a child who is an Aries and fits this description perfectly. I have often said that someone could make a living just implementing the ideas he leaves on the cutting room floor. He has made three major geographical moves so far in his life and taken many of his inner circle of friends with him through his excitement and being able to help them get jobs wherever he was working at the time. But he does have a dark side, brooding and quiet to the point of non-responsive at time – usually just before the next big idea surfaces. You can almost hear the brain cells churning.

    • Terrill – I love how you described your son, “…someone could make a living just implementing the ideas he leaves on the cutting room floor.” And he obviously has the gift of persuasian to have friends change geographic location along with him — it’s clear that friends want to stay in his orbit. As for his “dark” side…you’re right, it’s usually darkest just before the dawn — brain cells churning and the next big idea surfaces 🙂

  7. The Arian characteristics are mighty. Yet I can’t seem to place anyone close to me who was born during this span, though I was born to a big family, and am a parent of a big one as well. Ah, Lucille just reminded me that my nephew (a son of one of my brothers) who is actually my godson, was born on March 26. He was just appointed as a policeman in a neighboring town, some for sure some of these applications do apply!

    • Sam – I can assure you that many of your nephew’s Arian characteristics will stand him in good stead as he serves in the capacity of a police officer. Have a great week!

  9. I am Aries…there are a lot of truth in those listed traits and personality. My favorite color is blue though….but red does inspire me a lot too.
Wishing you and your family all the happy blessings for the New Year!

    • The Island Traveler – You bring up a great point so I’ll take this excellent opportunity to make a quick distinction…favorite color and power color aren’t necessarily the same thing. For instance, my favorite color is green, but my power color (the vibration/frequency that serves me best) is yellow. Happy blessings to YOU and YOURS in the New Year too 🙂
