  1. Yes, my daughter is a Capricorn and this describes her amazingly well. She is practical, reserved, common sense. (I will not try to look for the opposite parts of her right now, lol.) I don’t usually resonate with astrology too much, but it’s always fascinating when you see indications of its patterns and resonances appearing in people. Will be interesting to read and ponder.

  2. Very informative. I see a lot of the “Yellow Brain” attributes in the Capicorn personality. Only have 2 grandnephews who are Capicorns. I’ll have to be “Green and Think” about their traits and talents. Thanks! 🙂

  3. I can not think of a single Capricorn in my life. Many of my family members were born in mid- November to early December and my college roommate is late January as is my children’s God mother. Interestingly, I never noticed this void…
Fascinating and I thank you for sharing

  4. My twin brother and I are Capricorns. We are both into the “process” of how things get done. He is CEO of a mental health hospital and I was an administrator for an officer in a retail Corp. I am sitting here looking at the spreadsheet I created listing all the tasks, meals, etc. that I need to do before he arrives with his family tomorrow for five days. It is interesting that Capricorn is compatible with Scorpiio like my husband of 40 yrs. who just decided to have a new water heater installed today so I will not have water to clean or cook for about 3 hours! I have learned over the years how to control the shadow side of my sign and be more flexible and hold my tongue but today I hear my knees creaking (LOL). I can’t wait until your post on Scorpio.

    • ChrisOhhhhhh, your Scorpio husband got the new water heater installed today, of all days. Yowza! Maybe that just goes to show how darned much CONFIDENCE he has in your ability to do a work-around. I know you — you’ll pull this off well and no one will be the wiser 🙂

  5. No Capricorns either. It’s the only sign that doesn’t include someone in our circle of family and friends, at least that I’m aware of.

We had a good friend who also happened to be wonderfully gifted in this field so gained an early appreciation of the connections and possibilities. I’m looking forward to your insights!

Wishing you and Len a lovely Thanksgiving 🙂

    • Colleen – I’m surprised at the number of people who’ve left comments that don’t have any wonderful Capricorns in their circle of family and friends. Here’s wishing you and yours a lovely Thanksgiving as well 🙂

  6. I’m not a Capicorn, but one did (does) have a presence in my life.
I was especially interested to read about The Moon of Renewal–this is possibly why I wanted to pull the covers over my head and stay in bed in late December and early January. : )

    • Elke – I love Leo’s. My husband’s one 🙂 If you’re a Leo with Capricorn rising (ascendant), then you’re pretty darn cool. But then again, I already knew that 🙂

  7. Laurie, my sister Linda was a Capricorn, born on Christmas Day. She is no longer on this plane of existence but I’m sure she must be cracking people up on the other side. She could cut to the chase and get to the bottom line faster than anyone I ever knew. And if the situation looked bleak, well, she could find a wormhole to get through just as fast. She seemed to be light years ahead of me in recognizing what other folks needed and was quick to make it happen. I hope all Capricorns are such bright and shiny people.

    • Sandi – I really enjoyed the word picture you painted of your sister. I, too, can well imagine Linda and my mom (another Capricorn) cracking people up on the other side 🙂

  8. No known Capricorns right now, Laurie, but I am going to pay attention and see who has a birthday coming up. Certainly, I must know at least one! They sound like lovely people and I have a good number of wonderful people in my life.

  9. Laurie, I have one of these beings in my life and she is all of these things except reserved. I have a photo of her beside an aqua sea like in your photograph. She has never shone more brightly.

    • Paul – I’ll be the first to admit that the Zodiac isn’t everyone’s cuppa tea. But you sure can’t go wrong with that unbelievable water. I took that shot on the Caribbean side of Eleuthera Island in the Bahamas last year 🙂
