MASTER NUMBER 33
The Path of the Teacher
The 33 is a highly charged version of the 6 and all characteristics that apply for number 6 also apply for number 33. The characteristics represented by number 6 usually are enhanced in the master number 33.The 33 is the mover and shaker of Master Numbers. With 11 and 22 combined in this number, intuition and dreams reach an entirely new orbit. A 33 used to its full potential means that there’s no personal agenda, only a focus on humanitarian issues. Someone with 33 strongly featured in their chart has the ability to throw themselves into a project that’s more than practical—it can even be spiritual.

We could be talking about someone with a large public platform—like a Mother Teresa—but we could just as easily be talking about a wonderful first-grade teacher at the local elementary school.

Laurie, I’ve tried and tried to think of a single 33 in my Life and I am drawing a blank….mostly because I really don’t keep up with birthdays out of my own circle of friends and family. I sure would like to know one though. Gazing at the photo makes me feel like I need some Island Time!
Sandi – 33’s are few and far between. And I know what you mean about Island Time! That photo was taken from the back deck of the restaurant where we celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary last year.

I wonder how we’d integrate your capitalistic instincts into this general mindset? I think we can dismiss much of it as innocuous enough, except for those overly ambitious. John Lennon is someone I have appreciated greatly through my life.

Im a number 33/6. My Birthday is January 16, 1987. I just found out about numerology.
I always wondered why i have a deep profound desire to help heal the soul of the world. I’m 24 years old now, and just started a company to help heal the world. I’m using it because i believe the company will become an outside reflection of my inner self.

I have just today realised that both myself and other half are 33’s… It’s strange, the 1st time we met we spoke for hours about all that was wrong with the world and how we would fix it and we fell in love instantly. ..but due to continuing on reading i had found out about these master numbers such as 11, 22, and 33.
..i was born nov. 8 1994. ( 11 + 8 + 1994) = 33
.i know there something special inside me.
..i know there’s a bright future that aholds of me.
and almost every numerology facts about me were all out of this world.
..i’m a scorpio. i got a 8 birth date. and now i got this 33 life path.

After reading about Life path 6 and Master number 33 I’m amazed at how accurate this describes me. I’m a June 22, 1949 = 33. I once was told that my birth day of 22 also meant something but I can’t remember what. So much of what was written fits me so well. I am the caretaker of my 91 year mother and if someone close to me needs help they call me first. I need to learn to say no sometimes and I just don’t know how. I consider myself a strong person but I worry about others worrying and being under stress, if that makes sense to you at all. I guess I stress over their stress, and If I can relieve their stress then it relieves stress in me. Wow….I hope that came out right. Thank you so much for sharing this information. I am a fellow 33 as well (4/16/1984). I have been trying to figure out my place in this world even though I have a successful career, varied network of friends and family, and plenty of traveling abroad opportunities. I have always had an affinity to help those in need and who are less privileged. In the upcoming year, I was planning on joining an organization for orphans in Central or South America for a year or two. It is both comforting and unnerving to be a 33. We are capable of so much, but it can be a tall order at times to find happiness by giving others what they need instead of taking care of ourselves according to society’s standards. I was not built for routine or perhaps even a stable home life, which is influenced by other numbers in my numerology chart. I embrace it, though, and am so thankful to be who God created me to be. I know that I can provide great change and compassion for this world and that stability is not as alluring to me as it is may be to others. I desire change and finding ways of setting others free. With much delight and “a-ha” have just learned of the Master numbers. My birth date 09-07-1970 makes my twin sister and I both 33’s. And it all makes sense now! I can mostly identify with “These individuals have a very high spiritual quotient and some believe that they have a direct mental connection with God”. Carole – I think that a “registered business number” is unique to Canada. As such, I’m not familiar with it.
What I do know with certainty is this: As a Master Number 33, business — whether service or product — will be something that has a positive, uplifting, constructive, and healing effect on the lives of those it touches.

Hi, thankx for your answer, some time ago I asked someone of I was a master number and she said no, cause the correct way to add the numbers was like: 21+ 08+ 1984= 2013, and so 2+0+1+3= 6. So, to her I was a 6. I have done a research and seen in some sites that are divergences in the correct way to add, Do you know something about this? I see you add the single digits…

Marina – There are three types of numerology: Kabbalah, Chaldean, and Pythagorean. My training is in the Pythagorean method. Perhaps your friend is referring to one of the other types.
I’ve had someone do my numbers and this is what they said,” *Your lifepath number is “33”/6 (which is a masternumber)*
*Your whole birthname comes to the number “1”.*
*Your Soul number is also a “1”*
*You Personality number is a “9”*

Dana – A Master Number mother and daughter will have as much significance as you give to it. If you both determine that it’s important (and from my perspective it is), then positive action steps will increase your combined “ripple effect” (so to speak). There are a wide brushstroke of books and websites on numerology. However, each of you innately has the “answers” already residing within you. I suggest looking inward before looking outward.

Inward is at the personal intersection of the mind (where you do your thinking) and your emotion (where you do your feeling). If you can locate those crosshairs (thinking and feeling) that’s when you’ve arrived at the place that holds your inner knowing. Byanca – In Pythagorean Numerology you’re a Life Path 6 no matter which way you do the math (see below):
June 22, 1985 = 06 + 22 + 1985 = 2013. Reduce by adding together 2 + 0 + 1 + 3 = 6
OR
June 22, 1985 = 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 5 = 132. Reduce by adding together 1 + 3 + 2 = 6

Hi Laurie, I am just wondering how you got 6 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 5 = 132. Was it a typo error or am I missing how you got 132? Thank you. I am just trying to figure out if I am a 33/6 or just a 6. And the different methods are confusing me. Birthday is 6 Feb 1987.

Here’s the calculation for a person with a birth date of February 6, 1987
02 + 6 + 1987 = 1995. Reduce that number by adding it together: 1 + 9 + 9 + 5 = 105. Reduce that number by adding it together: 1 + 0 + 5 = 6.
Now let’s do it again a different way to rule in or out a Master Number:
0 + 2 + 6 + 1 + 9 + 8 + 7 = 33.
If a person ends up with a 2, 4, or 6 in the first calculation, always check it the second way. An 11, 22, or 33 sum in the second instance trumps the first calculation. Hence, you are a Master Number 33.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
ALL 11’s are additionally Life Path 2’s. But not all 2’s are additionally Master 11’s.
All 22’s are additionally Life Path 4’s. But not all 4’s are additionally Master 22’s.
All 33’s are additionally Lie Path 6’s. But not all 6’s are additionally Master 33’s.

Thank you Laurie! You have beautiful jolly eyes btw. As you are suspecting, I too have life path 33/6. sorry 🙂 I am soaking up the feedback on areas for improvement. It will help my path and my personal relationships greatly. Still, I have so many questions. If I am to look inward, why have I received so many clues along the way? It seems other spiritual people (complete strangers) recognized who I was years before I began to be aware. Why is my natural tendency as this number, unbalanced when I need to be balanced to reach my full potential. I am also expression destiny number 22. Even my name plays a role in this. I was named after a caretaker of one of my parents. My second name means Christ-like. I guess there is no getting out of this one. 😉

Nomadher – Our internal compass (so to speak) is internally resident. It is for guidance, and confirmation that you’re going in the right direction (following those external clues). You might want to check your local area for a metaphysical store that carries spiritual books, or as the librarian for guidance at your local library. Hi there. I’m no good at math, so I’m not about to try and guess which number I am. However, I share a birthday with Einstein, so my birthdate is March 14th, 1987 (whereas Albert was born in 1879). Most websites call him a 33. However, I used a calculator to figure this out once, and I came to 42/6. So could it be that Albert being 33 is a misconception?
Also, if our birthdates contained all the same digits, wouldn’t we have the same number?

It’s so nice to read about other 33’s. Thank you for the opportunity to do so. I remember counseling my mother when she was upset from the time I was just a tiny tot! I have always been a natural teacher/counselor and I feel most comfortable in that role. I’m definitely a homebody and hearth and home do mean a lot to me. l’ve also always had an inner agitation or “push” toward doing something BIG – like I have a destiny to fulfill. Kinda hard to describe but it’s not at all comfortable. I always know if I’m on the right path or not – I seem to have some kind of inner gyroscope (lol) and it’s pretty strict! Hello friends , I am 33 as well . I do also feel like I have a mission but not sure what it is yet . I have had dreams where I was speaking with my spirits and I was really thinking I was going crazy but now I do understand that it’s nothing to be afraid of . I’m learning to love myself and take better care of myself so I can help others . I used to do so much for others I totally forgot about myself and it led to people abusing me . However I have learned a different approach with people now and learning to share my energy in different ways and to focus on masses versus individuals . I have also learned how to recharge myself and when I do I can give so much with such love it feels wonderful. I have had business, got my degree, read endless number of books but my best feeling so far was stay at home mom and raising my children and my home. Talking about being devoted I am your person . Good site Laurie, I have so enjoyed reading. I just found out 2days ago I am 33 because of a reading I had. I had always thought I was just a 6 up til then. My birthdate 5th June 1975 also combine Master numbers 11 and 22 as in 5+6=11 and 1+9+7+5=22 and therefore 11+12=33. I had no idea. Maybe this explains why I am a psychic medium without any training. Id like to do this as a career which perhaps would make sense to use my gift to help others and I am also unemployed at present. I think this may have helped give me the confidence I need to make this happen and also help me stop percieving myself as strange !

I’m a kind of 33. 2+3+9+1+9+8+1 add up to 33 and I’m 33 years old … Kind of “lost” without the personal ambition… But that’s not the reason why I’m writing.
I’m interested in what you mean exactly by “mover and shaker of master numbers”? The basis of 33 is 6 and nowhere could I find a sign of moving and shaking, just endless repetition of the following keywords family, responsability and all sorts of burdens.
I ask, because I actually feel a little off beat (euphemism) and my astrological chart with prominent Uranus supports that in more than one way.
I do have trouble seeing how to join the nurturing, gentle, somewhat conservative part, with the need to be different, with the need for freedom and change.
Any other 33 experience the same “clash” of interests?

Hilda — My guidance? Listen WITH your heart. Notice I didn’t say TO your heart. The main thrust of being a Master Number 33 is about service to others, and what you can BE (not DO) for them.

With a birth date of January 8, 1995 here’s how you do the calculation:
1 + 8 + 1995 = 2004. Then reduce that sum by adding the numbers together: 2+4 = 6.
Then to confirm or deny a master number, add it up again, this time using the individual numbers as such:
1 + 8 + 1 + 9 + 9 + 5 = 33. No need to reduce because you’re a Master Number 33.
ALL master numbers (without exception) have a secondary life path number. In your case, it’s a life path 6.
In effect, your both. But a Master Number (in your case 33) always trumps a life path number.

Matthew – In numerology, there are two ways to add. The way you did it, and the way below. If one way equals 11, 22, or 33 and the other way doesn’t, a master number always “trumps” the other way. And yes, 33’s are also 6’s, but not the other way around. Just like 22′ are also 4’s, but not the other way around. And 11’s are also 2, but not the other way around:
March 14, 1979:
3 + 1 + 4 + 1 + 8 + 7 + 9 = 33
I see. So my birthday is 04/07/1993, am I a 33? Also, how did you personally come to adopt the ideas of numerology and accept them as your truth? It does make sense to me, but a part of my mind questions the theories, especially since i’m relatively new to the subject, i guess it’s almost just too convenient… do you have any advice of where to research properly? there doesn’t seem to be a lot of good material so i would appreciate some help. Matthew – With a birth date of April 7, 1993, you are a Master Number 33. Please know that while I resonate with much of what Numerology has to offer, I am selective in what I embrace. This is an experiential process – something you will have to research on your own to benefit from. I suggest starting with the materials available to you, for free, at your local library.
